Weddings, Portraits, Business

Based in Charlbury Oxfordshire England on the edge of the Cotswolds.

I am a full time Photographer covering weddings, parties, festivals and

events in the Cotswolds and beyond.

I grew up in Chadlington and moved around the Evenlode valley finally settling in Charlbury in 1992. Over the years I have had many hobbies like scale modeling, fishing and hiking. I have belonged to many clubs and societies like the Young FarmersThe Sealed Knot Society and Charlbury's very own C.A.D.S. but the one thing that has been a constant passion of mine is photography.

In the summer of 1976 I got my first camera, a Kodak 'Brownie' Vecta (a hand me down), from then on I was hooked on photography. On my 18th Birthday I was given an Olympus OM10 35mm S.L.R. which was my faithful companion for 20 or so years. Over time I gathered more lens, camera bodies and equipment but more importantly lots of experience, photographing weddings, parties and the local landscape.

Then in 2003 I went digital. I bought a small digital compact, being reluctant to give up my 35mm film. After a few months it became clear to me that digital was the future (but I still kept my film cameras including my little Vecta) so I decided to buy a digital S.L.R. I finally settled on a Cannon EOS 400D. A nice little camera with the versatility of a larger S.L.R. From then on I never looked back. Over the years I have built a huge portfolio which you can view on flickr or YouPic.

Moscow Militia

Although I do not do so much re-enacting now, I still perform at classical concerts with a group called the Moscow Militia. We dress in Russian Napoleonic Uniform and fire our muskets in Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
